Kateryna Diadiura is more than a pianist; she is an inspiring figure who captivates audiences worldwide and leaves a profound legacy with each performance. Her musical journey exemplifies the impact of dedication, artistry, and the transformative power of music.

 

Kateryna was born in Kyiv. Raised in a family of musicians she began playing the piano at five. At thirteen, she captivated audiences with her debut alongside the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, delivering a stunning rendition of Grieg's Concerto. 

 

Under the mentorship of Prof. N.Gridnjeva, Kateryna graduated from Kyiv Lysenko State Music Lyceum by eighteen. Further honing her skills at Taras Shevchenko National University and the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy. Her artistic growth flourished at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne, and she earned her Master's Degree in Solo Performance at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg at the class of Prof. Jacques Rouvier.

Kateryna did master classes with Michel Beroff, Pavel Gililov, Abdel-Rahman El Bacha, Vladimir Krainev and Dmitry Alexeev.

 

Kateryna won Grand Prix of national Ukrainian competition "New names" and Grand Prix of international competition "Art Premium" in Kiev.

 

She played concerts for 2 pianos and orchestra and piano duo recitals with Jacques Rouvier, Simon Trpceski, Igor Tchetuev, Vahan Mardirossian, Andrey Yaroshinsky, Dmitro Choni.

She regularly performs in different music festivals such as “Les concerts du Cloître» (Nice), “Les Nuits Pianistiques” (Aix-en-Provence), 

«Uzutrakiovakarai» (Lithuania),

«French Spring in Ukraine» (Kyiv), Festival “bruit qui pense” Louveciennes (France), “Festival Hommage Menuhin”(France).

 

She gives numerous recitals and chamber music concerts in Austria, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, USA, Japan and China.

She performed as a soloist with Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, orchestras of Poland, French, China, Belorussian and Russian philharmonic societies.


From 2015 till 2019 she has been guest soloist artist of the National Opera of Ukraine, performing regularly «Nuits dans les jardins d’Espagne» (M.de Falla).

In 2024, she made her Carnegie Hall debut, signaling an exciting new chapter ahead.

 

This season’s highlights will include 4 performances with Orchestra of Niederösterreich, which includes two concerts at the iconic Wiener Musikverein Golden Hall, chamber music performances in Salzburg Wiener Hall, in Wien Brahms hall, Carnegie Hall Weill recital hall, etc.

Beyond her performance excellence, Kateryna is committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians. She shares her profound knowledge through master classes at the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music and as a jury member for the Chopin Sessions International Piano Competition in Mallorca. 

 

Kateryna is a faculty member at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg.
